On macOS 15.4 and later, macOS asks before an app reads the clipboard. Choose Allow so Paste Ninja can save your copies without asking each time. You can change it later in System Settings › Privacy & Security.

Check that capture is on (the dot next to search is green, not paused). Paste Ninja also skips password managers and apps you've chosen to ignore, and saves images only if you turn them on in Settings › Capture. Copying the same thing twice in the same app within a minute counts once.

Press ⇧⌘Space. Choose where it appears (bottom, top, left, right or center) in Settings › Shortcuts, or from the button in the dock. On a MacBook with a notch, Top grows out of the notch.

By default, a small pill appears at the notch (or a toast on Macs without one). Choose a toast position, a menu bar blink or nothing in Settings › Capture › When a copy is saved.

Open Settings › Pro, or the app menu › Upgrade to Paste Ninja Pro, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Pro with.

Open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings › Subscriptions › Manage. Cancel at least 24 hours before your plan renews. Your clips stay after Pro ends.

iCloud sync is part of Paste Ninja Pro. Sign in to iCloud on each Mac with the same Apple Account, then open Paste Ninja. Clips waiting for review sync once you approve them.

Settings › General › Language, then relaunch Paste Ninja. Paste Ninja is available in English, Japanese, German, Spanish, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

Settings › Privacy › Backup › Back Up… saves a .pasteninja file with everything, images included. On the other Mac, double-click it or choose File › Import…. Clips you already have aren't duplicated. You can also export as Markdown or CSV. With Pro, turn on Back up automatically for a daily or weekly backup to a folder you choose.

Settings › Privacy › Erase All Data removes every clip, collection and tag. You can also reset all settings there.
